Dan joined Polaris Partners in 2004 as the director of information technology. Dan is responsible for all aspects of IT across the organization.
He brings his depth of experience, technical skills, security background, and leadership capabilities to his current position where he supports not only the needs of the company operationally but also in an advisory role to the investment team and portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Polaris, he spent four years as a consultant with everyNetwork, a high-tech consulting firm. Dan’s primary focus there was working with venture capital and private equity firms as well as venture-backed startups. He was also responsible for developing an in house training program and the creation of a security assessment practice. Earlier, he worked for Advantage Schools designing and installing technology infrastructure for charter schools across the country.
Dan is an active member of the Private Equity Chief Technology Officer organization and sits on the advisory board of the Venture Capital and Private Equity Information Technology organization.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
