Chris joined Polaris’ Boston office in 2019 after spending time as a consultant with LS Polaris Innovation Fund.
Chris received his BA in Chemistry from the University of Vermont and his PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Michigan. He did his postdoctoral work in the lab of Susan Lindquist at MIT’s Whitehead Institute and was the chair of the Postdoctoral Association during his tenure. Prior to joining the LS Polaris Innovation Fund, he was VP of business development at seqWell, a business development specialist at Roche Diagnostics and director of life science technologies at HighRes Biosolutions.
During his career, Chris has held leadership roles at major academic institutions and critical business development positions across multiple industries including gene therapy, high-throughput robotics, diagnostics, and NextGen sequencing. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking and spending time with his family.
