PostRocket provides brands with a variety of analysis and recommendations every day to increase engagement and reach on Facebook.
The idea is to surface these recommendations without the brand having to do any deep complex analysis of data. The recommendations cover four areas: timing of a post, type of post (video, text, photo), frequency of posts and content of a post. For timing, PostRocket analyzes pages with similar characteristics, including demographics, to provide recommendations of optimal times to post. Other services just look at past performance of that individual page to make recommendations. Using this method, PostRocket has seen substantial increases in the number of fans reached for clients. PostRocket also suggests how many posts a Page should post per day to get maximum reach and engagement without posting too much and causing negative feedback from fans. Finally, PostRocket recommends different types of content via an internal tagging system. For example, marketers can tag posts with “blog” or “customer spotlight” and then PostRocket will recommend which are best to post.
